Wellbeing, Resilience& Leadership Workshops

The Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS), are inviting Expressions of Interest from individuals working in NHS Paediatric Audiology in England to participate in a wellbeing and leadership offer.

About the Programme
This initiative is part of a national development programme designed to strengthen

wellbeing, resilience, and leadership within the paediatric audiology profession. The one day national events are designed to be a vital space for reflection and connection for senior clinicians and service leads.

Group /team coaching sessions will also be available from March; dates will be determined with the groups and groups/teams will be invited to express an interest in January.

What You Will Gain
These workshops are a focused investment in your Wellbeing and leadership, providing
you with the space and tools to reflect, recharge, and reconnect.

  • Strengthen Resilience: Explore resilience as a connection to meaning and identify
    personal sources of strength and motivation.
  • Lead Through Adversity: Learn how to manage emotions and behaviour with
    compassion and clarity and introduce practical conversation frameworks for holding
    difficult conversations with integrity.
  • Recharge and Reconnect: The time away is an opportunity to step back, reflect on
    your work, and leave with renewed energy and a renewed sense of purpose.
  • Build Community: Connect with a growing national peer network and build
    connections and trust with peers who share similar challenges.
  • Tangible Tools: Depart with practical tools for supporting your own, and team
    wellbeing and performance, including a personal set of reflection tools to guide
    your leadership practice.

There are two dates to choose from, both workshops will be held in Birmingham.
